CRAZY Snow!!!

We live a little farther north than all of our friends so we got hit with TONS of snow -- in March! It seemed like 3 or 4 inches. I can't remember the last time we had THAT much. The really crazy part was that the day before AND after the snow we really didn't need jackets! Texas weather is so weird. And maybe I get a little too excited about these things. :)
This is when we saw the first snowflakes -- BIG, wet ones!
Around 10ish when we were finally going to get Jake to bed (REALLY bad, I know; blame the Wii and Super Mario Galaxy. Like Deanna said in her blog, throw the book at me.) I noticed how much snow had fallen. We had to go play!

It made everything so beautiful...and quiet. You know how it muffles sound? I'm surprised there weren't more people out playing!
The next morning before Max woke up I got Jake up and we went to play again - I knew it would all melt quickly. Notice the olives and candy corn. :) We soon got wimpy and cold and came back inside. God is so good to bless us with fun like that. Thank you Lord for loving us and blessing us with fun!

The snow is beautiful! We live only ~10 minutes away, and we barely got any! Texas weather is proof of God's sense of humor!
