Renovation, etc.

My to-do list is about a mile long, and blogging is toward the bottom. I know you've all been at the edge of your seats! ;)

We had a wonderful Christmas - 4 different stops. We're drowning in Transformers, Star Wars characters and various other boy stuff. Actually, we made giant sweeps in both boys' rooms before opening new packages to get rid of old. (garage sale, donate, etc.) So nice to spend time with family and the boys are at a great age to enjoy everything.

And as I type, Andy is sweeping up inches of dust from our living room floor. In a few hours yesterday he scraped off all the tile (no machines - just his back!). Today he spent ALL day sanding down the thinset mortar left from the tile so we can put carpet down eventually. He carefully covered all the doorways and vents with plastic to contain most of the dust, but it amazingly got EVERYWHERE. This fine, white dust has permeated just about every room but the garage. So somewhere on my to-do list once this project is done, is a major house cleaning. All of our living room furniture is piled in the garage. And because of the plastic covering, we have to go outside to get to the kitchen, avoiding the living room. Pretty chaotic, but I'm ever-so thankful for HANDY ANDY!

Still adjusting to the new camera, but have lots of shots to post...just not yet.
oh yeah, Happy New Year!

Also, has anyone seen the movie Australia? I REALLY liked it...

I didn't know you got a new camera. Cool. I think allot of people have been getting new cameras. I didn't. We have had ours for 5 years now. But will have to wait a few more years. Have to much debt to get anything new right now. Can't wait to see the pics.

Glad your Christmas was good!!! Miss you tons.

Fun! Updates are always exciting and new. Go Andy! Ryan is handy but doesn't "enjoy" doing the same stuff that he does at work all day. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all done!
