So sorry it's been 5000 years since my last post. I've just put it on the back burner with everything going on, and then (do you do this?) I feel overwhelmed when I think of all I haven't blogged, so I avoid it...
But this is our new house. We are loving it and the lack of maintenance it requires! Below are the different views from our front porch. We're on a bit of a hill, which feels nice.

This is a mystery bush right near our front door. There are just a few of these white flowers and they smell like Gardenia - beautiful, strong smell.
My heaven-on-earth bathroom. :) Andy and I have wanted a garden tub for a long time - happy.
closet
living room/kitchen... can't figure out how to get more seating in our living room. that glider chair looks weird there - will probably move it to another room.
also so excited about a fireplace - ready for Christmas stockings!
also LOVING the kitchen. tons of cabinet space and we love how it's open to the living room

my pantry! been without this most of our marriage! so nice...
like the easy clean stove and DRAWERS for pans
our dumping grounds for now. this is the formal dining, which might turn into a game room, but right now it's full of what will end up in the attic once Andy puts decking up there.
other little weird room right near the front door - formal living? we'll eventually put our office here.
guest bath
front door
table we got at Sam's; expands with butterfly leaf and came with 8 chairs - perfect for putting the other 4 around our bar area.So anyway, it's nice to be a bit more settled in. We feel so blessed by the way everything worked out with this house. And Wylie is nice too... Thank you Father!

Congratulations on your new, lovely house! I am so happy that you are all enjoying it. Glad you finally got your panty...once I made a pantry out of a closet that was down the hall and to the right of the kitchen. I don't know how you made it without one. :)
That is a pretty house! I am impressed you posted a picture of your closet! I would never be able to! Mine is a disaster!!
I lived 10 of my married years with out a pantry! I am glad you got one now!
LOVE your new home, Laura!! That garden tub looks wonderful. I really like all the rooms and the way you've decorated. So pretty & inviting! Thank you for posting the pics...I've been waiting. ;)

Looks like a peaceful home...can you show us pictures of the bedrooms? How many bedrooms do you have? What does the back yard look like?
Congratulations!! Your house is BEAUTIFUL! I love the drawers in the kitchen under the stove! I've asked Matt and Zane to do something like that for me...eventually! :) What a beautiful, open floor plan and what a beautiful, deserving family! Welcome to the neighborhood!
I love your house, Laura! I was thinking that layout looked really familiar, and I just remembered - the kitchen/living room looks just like one Robin used to live in. Crazy! Anyway, I love it and I'm glad you guys are getting all settled in.
I love it Laura!!! You guys So deserve it and I am so happy for you. It's neat to see how many people haven't had pantry's. I look forward to having one to someday. Enjoy your tub!! :o)
I love the house!! I have a bunch of comments about your pictures - wish it would let me place comments as I see the pictures. By now I've already forgotten them ;-)
Looks great in person and in pictures!
I didn't notice your stove drawers when I was there...NICE! And I could never live without a flat top stove after having one!! Infinitely better than the old style!
I haven't checked your blog (or anyone else's except my kids!) for over a month, so I missed this. The house looks wonderful and we're so thankful for you!
