She’s Almost Here!

We're getting ready for our little one to come. (I'm so frustrated with blogger because I wanted these pics at the bottom and I can't get them to move...) This is the "after" of the boys' flower hands that are right near the door.

This is another of the "after" pics that should go at the bottom!

The boys wanted to help so badly...

Max cheesin'

Generous with hugs...

On Daddy's ladder and Max dancing to the radio we had set up. :)

So glad my wonderful hubby handled this part. He's so much better and much more careful than I am.

I free-handed the flowers to match the ones on the crib bedding with pencil then colored them in with acrylic paints. Andy did a little of the flowers but I did most of it!

Hard to tell, but there are just 3 big flowers in the room. I didn't want it to get too busy with the other things I want to hang on the walls.

The "before" of the boys' hand flowers...

Without the crib

The crib!

Now we just have to move a dresser in her room - Andy painted one we had white. It's been drying in the garage all week. Then I need to decide what to hang on the walls. Amazing that we're ready this early. Maybe I'm just a little excited about a girl...;)

Also, I went to my ObGyn today. She is measuring at 34 weeks which is right on track. But, because I've had big babies in the past (Jake - 9 1/2 lbs and Max was almost 8 lbs at a week early) she will probably induce me a week early - on October 18! We can't schedule it yet with the hospital but that's the date she's shooting for. That means only 5 weeks left!

I really am so excited this time around. I think a lot of it is that I don't have any fears of caring for a newborn anymore - got over that the first 2 times. I look forward to just enjoying her. And although I've enjoyed this pregnancy so much, I'm super uncomfortable and ready for the end. I know these last few weeks will fly by...

And we finally decided on a name: Annalyn Ruby. All the women on my dad's side of the family have Ann somewhere and Ruby is Andy's mom's middle name. So it's special and precious, I think. And I feel so blessed - my mom and some friends are throwing showers. Such a fun, blessed time. Amazed at the Lord's gifts... :)
